Covid-19 Updates

With the current Coronavirus outbreak, we are taking precautions in our office to keep you safe. We have been recognized by San Bernardino County as a COVID Compliant Business. Here are some of the changes within our office:

We now offer telemedicine visits. Phone visits can keep you up to date on your health and allow us to follow social distancing recommendations while caring for your needs. Please call our office to schedule your visit. For those of you that have been using MedTunnel, we will continue to use this platform as well.

These televisits can discuss and treat

  • any cold or flu symptoms to determine follow up care, treatment and if testing for Coronavirus is recommended.  If after our discussion we feel you need to be seen or tested, we are implementing car visits for testing/examination to keep you and our office staff safe.

  • stress and emotional well being

  • diabetes check ups

  • medication refills

  • other health care concerns, such as rashes (can send pictures through MedTunnel app)

We recommend having refills and medications stocked and consider switching to mail pharmacies to limit your exposure in the community. We can prescribe 90 day supplies to these pharmacies. Contact your insurance to find your contracted mail pharmacy.  Many other pharmacies have apps that are offering delivery of prescriptions and supplies as well.

If coming to our office is necessary for appointments, nurse visits, lab draws or injections we are implementing new protocols:

  • Once you arrive in the parking lot, please call or text the office. We are only allowing one patient into the waiting room at a time for check in. This is to minimize exposure for all parties.

  • If you are coming into the office for fever (please check temperature at home) and cough/cold symptoms, please call or text the office when you arrive. At your consent, we would like to examine you from your car to limit the exposure to our office.  Please wear a mask if you have one.

  • If you want to come to the office for a nurse visit (blood draw, urine test, injection, etc), please call the office first so we can place you on the schedule. Once you arrive in the parking lot, please call or text so an MA can come get you.

We are here to care for you, your family and our community.  Please contact us with any questions or concerns.  We are in this together.
